Admission Committee is hereby constituted to ensure smooth admission of the students seeking various Courses at Sevasadan Arts, Commerce & Science Senior College, Nagpur for the Academic Session 2024-25.

ADMISSION RULES
- Online Admission process will be followed. Students are advised to register themselves on the link provided on the college website www.sevasadanseniorcollege.in and contact admission committee along with pdf (Hard Copy) of online registration form. The information Brochure can be obtained from the college office on payment of prescribed fees. Application for admission in any class/faculty should be registered as per the notification of the college given either in the newspapers or displayed on the College Notice Board. The Senior College and Junior College shall re-open for the new session on 05-07-2024. Students from outside Maharashtra Board and University desirous to seek admission for higher courses of the University are required to submit an Eligibility Certificate which can be obtained from Nagpur University on payment of the prescribed fee as per letter of university bearing No. Enrol 95/2865 dated 4-5-1995.
- No admission shall be finalized in absence of the Eligibility Certificate.

For admission to all classes, Original School/ College Leaving or Transfer Certificate, Mark-list and true copies of the same should be brought at the time of admission.
Every application must be accompanied by the Certified True copies attested by the Gazetted Officer, Principal, Headmaster of Lecturer of the affiliated college of Nagpur University only. - No admission form will be accepted in absence of the mark-list of the qualifying examination passed and T.C. A student admitted in the college has to pay the fees and other dues for the entire academic session even if she leaves the college in the middle of the session. No transfer certificate will be issued unless the entire amount of the fees prescribed is paid.
- Note: The original School/ College Leaving Certificate will not be returned in any case after admission. No applicant for admission can claim admission as a matter of right on the basis of ex-studentship of this college. Once the public examination for which a student is admitted, is over, he/ she shall cease to be a student of this college, whether he/ she has actually appeared for the said examination or not and irrespective of the fact that she has not taken her transfer certificate from the college.
- The Principal has powers to refuse admission or cancel admission once granted, if a student is found guilty of gross misconduct or misbehaviour or any act of indiscipline, or is found guilty of using unfair means in the college examination for which disciplinary action has been taken against her or for participating in any agitation or taking out morchas etc.

Reservation of seats:
50% seats are reserved for backward classes, students belonging to all reserved categories. Preference in admission may be given to college students who have passed XII std. in 1st attempt with the percentage to be notified in the newspapers and on the college Notice Board. Then if seats remain vacant, outsiders shall be considered for admission. - On admission every students shall obtain on payment an identity card carrying his/ her own passport size photograph duly pasted on it and shall preserve this card carefully with him/ her in order to produce it on demand as and when required. In case of loss, it can only be reissued on payment of Rs. 250/- (Two Hundred fifty only). Every student must bring the identity card daily to the college and return the same to the office at the time of receiving their admission cards for Board/ University examination.
- In case this card is lost the matter should at once be reported to the college office. This card can be used for other purposes like joining University or Govt. Libraries.
Important instructions for Enrolment: - (Should read carefully)
1) Student migrating from Other Boards/ Universities (excluding Maharashtra State Education Board and Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University) should require to submit.
a) Original Migration Certificate along with a Immigration fee of Rs. Prof-500, Non-prof-200.
b) Original Mark-list from 12th Standard Onwards/along with Xerox Copies also.
c) Eligibility Certificate.
2) The last date of submission of completed Enrolment forms in the University will be 15/10/2024 with fulfilling the complete discrepancies.
3) Student are required to pay a late fee of Rs.100/- per month for the late submission of Enrolment form after 15th November 2024 and for any sort of discrepancies noticed after scrutiny of the Enrolment Form by the University. Also a fine of Rs.500/-to be paid by those student who will be submitting their Enrolment Forms after 15th November 2024. Enrolment Forms will not be accepted after the end of November Month.
4) Student availing relaxation on the basis of Caste should require to submit a Caste Validity certificate from the Competent Authority along with this form Otherwise his/her admission to the course will be cancelled forth with.
5) Eligibility Certificate is required to those candidates who have passed from other than Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University and Maharashtra State Education Board.
6) Student who will be requiring eligibility certificate shall must be enclose the eligibility Certificate with this form, Without which there enrolment forms will not be accepted & not considered.
7) The student who are pass MCVC Course of HSSC from Maharashtra state Board and required to enclose eligibility certificate with enrolment form for B.Sc students only.
8) Foreign students will have to submit i.e. Eligibility Certificate issued by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University N.O.C from the Advisor of Foreign Student, along with Receipt of $500/-(Five Hundred Dollar) (US Dollar) as University Registration fees.
Important Notice Regarding Online Submission:
- As per instructions of Maharashtra Government, Social Welfare Office all the students belonging to SC, OBC, SBC, NT will submit the Scholarship/Freeship Forms which are to be submitted online as per the instructions given on the Website: www.mahadbtmahait.gov.in
- Students belonging to ST category will submit the online form on the Website: www.mahadbtmahait.gov.in.
- The printout in the pdf format be submitted to college.
- Other documents to be submitted along with Aadhar card, Aadhar seedling slip, Bank Passbook, Cast Certificate, Income Certificate, Ration card, Leaving certificate, SSC Marksheet, HSSC Marksheet, recently passed out Exam mark sheet along with the above print out is compulsory.
All the above documents are to be submitted in the Scholarship Section of the college.
Information Regarding Scholarship / Freeship:
The scholarship/ concession holders and parents are expected to read all notices. If the concession/ scholarship forms of concerned students are rejected by the concerned Govt departments on any ground, such students shall have to pay full fees to the college within 15 days from the date of such notices.
- At the time of submission of any type of concession form, students are required to produce their Identity Card, without which the form will not be accepted.
- Students belonging to SC/ST/VJ/NT/SBC/OBC Category will submit GOI Scholarship or Freeship form only.
- Students of outside Maharashtra State or not eligible to avail any type of concession.
- Eligible and deserving students for the scholarship are advised to submit the prescribed application forms along with necessary certificates duly filled in, to the Scholarship clerk on or before the dates mentioned. After this date, forms will not be accepted.
- All scholarships payable to the students are directly deposited in their Aadhar link bank account by the government.
- All Concession holders must see the notices displayed on the college notice Board from time to time regarding the sanction of the scholarship forms etc.
- All the payments are made by transferring amount to student's individual Aadhar link saving account. Therefore, all the students availing any type of concession are hereby advised to open Saving Account preferably in Bank of India or Bank of Maharashtra. Students are also advised to submit clean and neat photocopy of Bank Pass Book to scholarship Section along with Mobile Numbers, so that message regarding transfer of amount will be conveyed to them.
- The students who are admitted under Backward category are advised to submit their Caste Certificates to the admission section or else their admissions will not be confirmed.
